Antique.
January 2012.I am at a loss for words! Still absolutely mystified and full of so much emotion. This photographic success is more than enough reason to keep Antique, whereas I was planning on selling him or trading him off. None of my other tarantulas could have pulled off this photo, and with such finesse. His coloration, body type, and being my only grown Nhandu, he was the only tarantula suitable for the shot, but, I didn’t put him in that pose! I put him on the skull, we took a few pictures in various places, and as I urged him forward a bit, he walked right to the snout of the skull, and hung his two front legs. I took a few pictures, absolutely astonished by the results. What I could have come up with wouldn’t have touched what this came out to be, without Antique’s marvelous performance and wonderful ability. He is written as one of my best models to date, I am in absolute praise of him.
